1. Acceptance of terms

These terms (the "terms") govern your use of the website vegalabs.no and the app Ta Førerkortet, as well as any other products Vegalabs ("we", "us") offers (the "services"). By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree to the terms, you may not use the services.

2. Description of the service

Ta Førerkortet is a digital practice tool designed to help you prepare for the class B driving theory test. The content is intended as a supplement to — not a replacement for — official training and the official syllabus from Statens vegvesen (the Norwegian Public Roads Administration). We do not guarantee that using the app will result in passing the theory test.

3. User accounts

Some features may require you to create an account. You're responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity under your account, and must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Parts of the services may be offered as paid features or subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play. Prices, billing cycles, and any trial period are shown before purchase. Payment, renewal, and cancellation of subscriptions are handled by the relevant platform (Apple or Google) under their own terms. We don't issue refunds directly — contact the platform's support for refund requests, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

5. Intellectual property

All content in the services — including text, questions, design, logos, graphics, and code — is owned by Vegalabs or our licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You're granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the services for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from the content without our written consent.

6. Acceptable use

When using our services, you agree not to:

• Use the services for unlawful purposes or in violation of these terms.
• Attempt to circumvent, decompile, or reverse-engineer content or code in the app.
• Automatically extract (scrape) content from the services.
• Share your account with others or resell access to the services.
• Disrupt or overload our infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

Violating this may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account.

7. Disclaimer

The services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We strive to keep the content in Ta Førerkortet accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee it fully reflects current regulations or the official theory test at all times. Use of the app is at your own risk, and you should always refer to official sources when in doubt.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Vegalabs shall not be liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, lost profits, or other damages arising from use of — or inability to use — the services, including any failed result on the theory test. Our total liability to you shall in any case be limited to the amount you've paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.

9. Termination

You may stop using the services and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the services if you breach these terms, or if we otherwise choose to discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where practicable.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the services or applicable law change. For material changes, we'll notify you through the app or website. Continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes arising in connection with the services shall first be sought resolved amicably. Failing that, the dispute shall be settled by Norwegian courts, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
